Recently three consecutive flights of geese and cranes rose above the Hauts d’Albas, meaning that winter recedes. Therefore we must prepare the motorcycle trips program in the Southwest.

The goal of this motorcycle trip : the Gorges of the Aveyron!
Its tourist interest is renowned with the City of Cordes sur Ciel, the bastide of Castelnau de Montmirail, the hilltop village of Puycelsi, the castle of Bruniquel and the market of St Antonin Noble Val.
This loop with multiple turns will be a delight for your tyres and you’ll be on top form when you get to the gastronomic restaurant “Lou Bourdié” (at Monique, booking obligatory!) in Bach.
After this copious meal in a cheerful atmosphere, a last visit to the bastides of Quercy Blanc before returning to your unusual accommodation in the Lot, passing through the collegiate church of Montpezat de Quercy, the bastide of Molières, the turns of the Quercy hills and end at the famous village of Montcuq. From that point, you’re just 10 minutes from your all comfort yurts and heated pools at the Hauts d’Albas.

After the dry stone walls of Quercy, this motorcycle trip will make you discover Lot valley and Cahors vineyards, twirling in the chestnut and oak forests of the Bouriane and the Black Périgord, to the castles of the Dordogne valley
After a gorgeous breakfast in your cozy yurt, head over to the banks of the Lot river, made a stopover in the tasting cellars of Cahors Malbec and enter in the Dordogne until Monpazier, then Belvès and its spinning mill currently still operating
From there treat yourself and take a stroll at the foot of the great castles of the Dordogne valley (Castelnaud, La Roque Gageac, Bénac,etc).
Come back to your original lodgings by the castle of Fenelon and grab the old N20 to Cahors : a driving delight on the ridges!
