A weekend or an unusual week in a gorgeous region
In September the Lot and the vineyards Valley offers contrasting festivals. The first one with the “Festival Traces Contemporaines” which this year starts on September 22 with four days of dancing in the street with modern & original dance. The other one from 5 to 10 October, « Ciné délices » Festival, is an international festival of hedonist movies with subject this year “l’éclat du rire” !
An original holiday with even greater contrasts
If dancing or movie festivals are not your cup of tea, you will find in Cahors on 10 & 11 September the 18th old & modern book show. Or if you prefer a festival with human exchanges, go to the « Festi’citoyen » at Gindou on 16 & 17 September, with conferences, participating debates about earth, life and links to others.
Major annual events for children and adults
Each year the show is expected in Rocamadour at the Montgolfiades on September 24 and 25.This year the Montgolfiades celebrate their 31 year anniversary with a majestic and magical show above a remarkable site of Midi-Pyrénées. Another annual event is the unique festival “La rue des enfants” in Montcuq; a great festival for the little ones! It is a festival for young audiences from September 10 & 11, an original weekend to make you feel you are still on holiday. Thirteen shows a day, creative workshops, entertainment, picnic, guinguettes and animals from 10.00 to 18.00. And then a good night’s sleep in your large modern yurt at les Hauts d’Albas.
